I find the reception staff very unhelpful and impolite. They have no patience even if someone has speech difficulties and can be quite rude. They should be properly trained or perhaps it's their policy to behave like that with their patients, I don't know. It's the worse practice I have ever attended, I have second thoughts.

I would say never ever go to this surgery, worse staff both the receptionist and doctors are with very bad behaveir , they never give you appointment, my wee daughter was not well and I called them many times but they didn’t give me any appointment, so I decided to change my surgery, this surgery should be closed if they can’t manage it. Worse surgery ever

I have been at the same doctors practice since I was born, I’m 32 now. This used to be a great practice but over the last 2 years it’s declined dramatically. Reception leave you standing at the desk while they have their conversations and notice you standing there, this has happened more than once. Unable to see doctors so has to be these new stand ins who are extremely poor to deal with and their attitude is ridiculous. I had a receptionist tell me I had to go to minor injuries and would no let this go then booked me an appointment saying it was a waste of time. I went to minor injuries who then advised me that they had not only wasted my time by asking me to go here but also there’s as a I did not have a trauma and they do not deal with hips. They did advise me thought it was my sciatic nerve. I went to the appointment the next day with this nurse who completely disgregaeded anything I said, wasn’t paying attention and made her own mind up. Extremely poor people skills.

Called a total of 74 times trying to get through on Wednesday and by the time I got through all appointments were gone. Tried again today. 121 calls and 8 minutes on hold. No appointments available by the time I got through. It's a joke

Having read some really nasty horrible reviews I thought it time to add my tuppence. I have been with this practice for a few years now and from day one up until today 24/12/2018 I have nothing but nice things to say. The reception staff have always treated me with respect, friendliness and cheery. They have went above and beyond to help me with varying issues that have popped up like forgetting to submit my repeat etc. As for making an appointment it couldn't be easier. You get out of bed and phone them at 8am. If you don't get through keep trying you will. Appointments are given out on first come basis. Once you get through then within two days you see the doctor. At my friends surgery he can wait up to three and a half weeks so no complaints from me for two days. Both the doctors and nurses are friendly and will chat with you but remember you are there because you have a problem and if you want to sit and chat do it at home or join a community group.. Thank you
